Gas Leases

A group of town residents has banded together in hopes of leasing about 5,000 acres of land to natural gas drillers.
The coalition, made up of 145 families and individuals, is drafting a lease to be shopped to energy companies this summer, said Jeff Decker, a member of the steering committee.
