The Transcontinental Gas Pipeline is operated by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC (Transco), a subsidiary of Williams Partners L.P. Settlements. In a 2002 settlement with the EPA and U.S. Department of Justice, Williams Partners agreed to test the soil and groundwater near some of its compressor stations for contamination.

Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line ( Transco) is a natural gas pipeline which brings gas from the Gulf coast of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania to deliver gas to the New Jersey and New York City area.
